reminder to self: support

As you come towards the end of your placement #swinprofexp don’t forget to reach out to your support crew for advice, encouragement, perspectives and laughs.

For each of you these people will be different but they will all have something in common. Your support crew will be constructive, listen deeply and encourage you to grow.

A crew may be your mentor, another teacher, a peer, friend, family member, leader, university lecturer, a professional such as a counsellor, psychologist, social worker or an allied health professional, or a neighbour. Pull together your crew to support you to celebrate, ponder and process.
